The Broadway Show
Here's the transcript of a video post from #realestate coach, Ricky Carruth. I'm almost lost for words, but let's give it a go. Said differently, "Here's how I manipulate naive and vulnerable homeowners into signing me up. The objection-handling, the close. The hustle".
Here's his pitch:
"Monday, I'm going to set a listing appointment live for you to watch.
With a real prospect. No theory. No role play. No pretend scenarios. A real homeowner.A real conversation. A real appointment locked in. (must register below to watch)
Why am I doing this? Because I want you to see exactly how it works. Not how it looks in a textbook. Not how it sounds in a script. How it actually happens.
Here's the thing about most coaching. Someone tells you the framework. You nod and take notes. But you've never seen it in action. You've never watched someone do it in real time. So you get home and you try it yourself. And it doesn't work the same way. Because you didn't actually see it. That's why Day 1 of the Set More Listing Appointments Challenge is different.
You get to watch me set an appointment. You see the conversation. You see how I handle objections. You see how I close. Then you know exactly what to do. Then you try it yourself. Then it works. That's the challenge.
3 days. Live. Real.
Day 1: Watch me set a listing appointment Day 2: Learn the conversion framework Day 3: You execute while I coach
By the end of 3 days, you'll have:
✓ Seen the system in action (not theory) ✓ Learned the exact framework ✓ Started executing ✓ Locked in your first appointments

And you wonder why #realestate is one of the least trusted professions?
Here's the thing about urgency that's engineered to feel spontaneous: it never is.
Look at the repetition. "Real. Not roleplay. Not theory." Said maybe six different ways, like if he says it enough times you'll stop noticing there's still no actual proof, no actual homeowner, no actual appointment — just a promise that one exists, arriving conveniently on the same day you're asked to pay for it.
The structure is the tell. Three days, priced two ways, "spots filling up," comment-to-DM instead of a link. That's not scarcity. That's a funnel dressed up as scarcity, and funnels don't need you to believe in trust — they need you to believe in speed.
And here's the sad part underneath the hype: the pitch admits its own premise. He says most coaching fails because you never actually watch it happen, you just take notes and go home and it doesn't work. He's right about that. But the fix he's selling isn't watching someone become congruent with their own approach — it's watching him perform a script, so you can perform it too. That's not less dependency. That's the same dependency with a livestream attached.
Real trust doesn't need a countdown timer. Money better spent on almost anything else.
