People Will Never Rise Above The Opinion of Themselves.

coverIDontKnowYou

In a world where external validation often dicates our sense of self-worth, it's easy to find ourselves trapped in an endless cycle of seeking approval of others. We measure our worth based on the opinion of others and allow their judgments to shape our identity. But what if we dared to look within for validation? What if we recognised the inherent worth that exists within each of us, independent of external recognition?

Self-worth is not a fleeting accolade, bestowed upon us by others; it is a steadfast belief in our intrinsic value as a human being. It's about understanding that we are inherently worthy simply by virtue of existing.Yet many of us struggle to embrace this truth, instead clinging to the hamster wheel of mediocrity, endlessly chasing external validation in a futile attempt to fill the void within.

True self-worth cannot be found in the approval of others, or in the attainment of external achievments. It is cultivated from within and nurtured by self-acceptance, self-love and self-respect. It's about recognising our unique strengths, talents and qualities and then having the courage to authentically express ourselves, regardless of other's opinion.

When we embrace our inner worth, we free ourselves from the shackles of competition and comparision. We no longer feel the need to measure up to society's standards, or conform to others expectations. Instead we celebrate our individuality and embrace our imperfections as integral parts of who we are.

Self-worth is not just about how we see ourselves, it's about how we choose to show up in the world and interact with others.

When we recognise our own worth, we naturally exude confidence and authenticity, inspiring those around us to do the same. Our self-assurance becomes a beacon of light, illuminating the path for others to follow.

When we work from a place of self-worth,our interactons with others are often characterised by empathy, kindness and respect. We recognise the inherent worth of every individual we meet, treating them with dignity and compassion. In doing so, we create a ripple effect of positivity, fostering a culture of mutual respect.

So how can we cultivate a deeper sense of self-worth?

It's about recognising and accepting that we are enough, just as we are and that as we change, we are moving to become an even grander version of ourselves.

"When your self-worth is determined by you, you don't have to depend on someone telling you Who you are."  - Beyoncé.

No matter how low your opinion is of yourself, it doesn't have to stay that way - in fact, it can't. Life is changing and we are changing every second of every day. There are always those less fortunate and those more gifted. It's not a comparision - it's about evolving. There's no time constraint that says it has to be tomorrow or the next day. It becomes your choice when the time is right for you.
