The Week Ahead in Podcasts & Articles: w/c 30th June 2025
As June gives way to July, we’re staying the course with four episodes lined up across the week. With familiar topics taking on new urgency and less-heard voices coming to the fore, we’ll be focusing on what’s changing – and what isn’t – in property, planning, and professional practice. All podcasts are hosted by Gareth Wax – producer, director and chair – in conversation with myself, conveyancing collaborator Hamish McLay.

Join us as we explore why IPSA members offer more than just a product - they offer confidence, clarity, and care.

On Thursday 3rd July at 10am, Property Quorum asks why more permissions aren’t delivering more homes. Our usual team of Chris Gilsenan and Juliet Baboolal are joined by Michelle Carr to take a sharp look at build-out rates and how it could impact badly for the government and slow things down.

Cladding Matters – Friday July 4th at 1pm

Grenfell on Screen, Councillors in Denial

With the election result still pending, Gareth and Hamish are joined once again by Stephen Day to turn the spotlight back on the Council. As Labour loses ground in the empty seat, we ask: should every Councillor be made to sit down and watch Netflix’s Grenfell documentary?
Live on Friday 4th July at 1pm.

*Additional guests for podcasts may be revealed as the week progresses.*
