I feel genuinely disheartened when scrolling through social media and stumble upon posts by First Time Buyers (FTBs) expressing regret over their initial home purchases. Recently, there was yet another such story that underscores the importance of being proactive in the home buying journey.

Last week, a FTB completed the purchase of their new home. Their excitement quickly turned to despair as they discovered a significant slope in the living room floor. What's more disheartening is that they had noticed the slope during the property viewing but chose to overlook it. A critical misstep!
