What Do You Do?-2
It's a qiestion we all get asked from time to time and it's never easy "piching" what you do so that it becomes compelling and they have to follow up with "Tell Me more."
Pitching that you're an estate agent, or solicitor or conveyancer positions you as part of the common. You need "flesh on the bones" - but if you simply explain what you do and how well you do it, people lose interest.
They don't want a logical pitch - they need to connect at heart level. To feel something.
And that's why you should start every pitch, every answer to what you do, not with What but with WHO.
It's when you're implicitly trusted that you don't need to pitch what you do or how.
Answer the question with WHO you are and close with "If you ever need that, nobody does it better."
