Winter Property Surveys: What Your Estate Agent Won't Tell You
Stop booking property surveys for spring. If you want to know what you're really buying, winter is your best friend.

Here's why winter reveals what summer hides:
Guttering problems? Visible in the rain
Heating issues? Can't hide them in December

Would never have given this a thought. It makes total sense. It is when you'd probably spot other issues too like problems with broken guttering (water falling from places it shouldn't) and so on.

There's a complete walk through for buyers and seller's in WiggyWam's learning centre that walks through every part of the process, including what to look out for in terms of defects etc. Agent's and Solicitors should share this valuable resource with their clients. Not only does it take the pressure off them in terms of having to explain everything to their new client, it helps speed up the process because buyers and sellers now know what to expect, what theirs and others roles are etc.
