March ended with a significant Stamp Duty (SDLT) upheaval, prompting a rush to complete transactions by March 31st to avoid Stamp Duty hikes, placing immense pressure on conveyancing solicitors and conveyancers. In recognition of their extraordinary efforts, many firms gave the first day of April off.

This situation has spotlighted the intense demands and complexities of modern conveyancing, revealing a need for greater understanding of the pressures faced by the sector.
