A quote by PayPal founder, Peter Thiel, at a Harvard lecture said those very words.

He was referencing the strategy of becoming a "monopoly" rather than a comparison for potential clients. Of becoming so different that there could be no comparison.

And yet, estae agency "trainers" and bosses encourage this practice.

In a sector where there are no rules and any agency can say pretty much what they choose.

Simon Sinek refers to it as the Finite Game and the Infinite Game.

If there are no rules, why would anyone compete?
