You may not have heard of Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) in Texas, but no doubt you HAVE heard of its' near neighbour, SpaceX Starbase! Ocean 3D were selected to produce a Virtual Tour of BRO - this is the promo video for it.

These places can cause anxiety if travelling alone for example, and just being able to pull something like this up on your phone at an airport, to help you navigate where you need to go would be brilliant - certainly a stress reducer!  More ...

Airports (like virtually all big and busy places) contain a minefield of trigger points for people with ASD, PTSD and anxiety, and those like BRO that recognise the problems - and the potential to reduce the impact of those problems - by taking the reasonable step to providing Virtual Tours of their spaces and facilities are leading the way for others to follow.
    According to Google, only three UK International Airports (Gatwick, Heathrow and Bristol) have sensory rooms, although Manchester has a 'quiet room' and Newcastle has recently opened a sensory area. "Accessibility" is a word shouted from the rooftops - but in reality it is generally poorly executed and so many tricks are missed that would improve the experiences for so many. That is why we do what we do at Ocean 3D - partnering with businesses that recognise providing a Virtual Tour is making the UK more accessible, one space at a time.      More ...
